BSW is a 3-year undergraduate professional degree course majoring in field of social work. A typical BSW degree course lasts 3 years and is broken down into 6 semesters. BSW Admission Process
BSW admission is based on the cut-off lists issued by university or college. Admission process is entirely merit-based. Some universities like the Osmania University also conduct an Aptitude Test.
Direct Admissions
Direct Admission through the management quota is also available in universities such as Amity University. The Government colleges do not have a management quota so direct admission is not available.
Lateral Entry
Candidates can get admission into second and third years of BSW through lateral entry in colleges like Delhi Institute of Professional Studies. Criteria differ across the college
